  • Add a preferred short name or nickname.

  • Use threads to keep conversations organized.
  • Post in the appropriate Slack channels.
  • Set your status according to your tasks and reflect your availability.
  • Use @ mentions wisely to notify individuals or groups.
  • Search past messages before asking a question.
